The Brussels Convention on the Execution of Jurisdiction and Judgment of Civil and Commercial Matters (hereinafter referred to as the ”Judgment Implementation Convention") aims to achieve the purpose of the above judgment execution, but the arbitration is excluded from its scope. This article examines the relationship between the implementation of the judgment and the recognition and enforcement of arbitral awards and the arbitration agreement within the European Community.
