棘轮是间歇进给机构中最常用的零件。在食品工业中,用于切片、切条、切丝的食品机械也都采用棘轮机构传动链轮输送带来实现间歇进给。这里介绍用单向超越离合器代替食品机械中原棘轮机构实现间歇进给,实践表明也能取得较好效果。附图是单向超越离合器代替棘轮机构的传动及结构简图。食品由链轮传送带送进,进给量是根据食品厚度要求,通过调整偏心轮的偏心量来实现的。偏心轮旋转时,摆杆上下摆动,由拨销8带动超越离合器
