鄂尔多斯盆地是世界十大聚煤盆地之一,石炭二叠系和侏罗系煤系分布面积达24×104km2,煤层气资源十分丰富。该盆地东部石炭二叠系的山西组和太原组含煤面积为3.3×104km2,煤层气远景资源量约2.4×1012m3,具有形成大型煤层气气田的有利条件。根据该区大量热模拟资料,其煤层生成的气量远超过自身吸附能力;煤中气孔特别发育且次生构造张裂隙发育,煤层储集物性好;煤层顶、底板均为稳定分布且厚而致密的灰岩、泥岩,多处于承压水封闭区,区域性封盖条件好。参考国外煤层气勘探选区标准,认为该区的中部地区(绥德—吴堡)是煤层气勘探最有利目标区。在绥德—吴堡地区完成的煤层气资料评价井(吴试1井)钻探证实,鄂尔多斯盆地东部地区有望发现大型煤层气气田。图3(王孝陵摘)
The Ordos Basin is one of the top ten coal-bearing basins in the world. The Carboniferous-Permian and Jurassic coal measures have a distribution area of 24 × 104 km2 and rich CBM resources. The coal-bearing area of Shanxi Formation and Taiyuan Formation of Carboniferous-Permian in the eastern part of this basin is 3.3 × 104km2, and the prospective resource of CBM is about 2.4 × 1012m3, which has the favorable conditions for forming large CBM gas fields. According to a large number of thermal simulation data in the area, the amount of gas generated by the coal seam far exceeds its own adsorption capacity; the pores in the coal are particularly developed and the secondary structural cracks develop and the coal seam has good reservoir properties; the top and bottom of the coal seam are both stable and densely distributed Of the limestone, mudstone, mostly in confined water confined area, good regional sealing conditions. With reference to the selection criteria for CBM prospecting in foreign countries, it is believed that the central area (Suide-Wubao) in the area is the most favorable target area for CBM exploration. Drilling of the CBM evaluation data well (Wu test 1) completed in Suide-Wubu area confirms that it is expected that a large CBM gas field will be discovered in the eastern Ordos Basin.
