20多年来,党史界对中共五大的研究更加深入,在历史作用的研究、“左”倾问题的研究、与共产国际关系的研究、重要人物与五大关系的研究等方面,产生了一批很有价值的成果。通过对现有研究成果的归纳、整理和分析,作者认为,深化五大的研究,需要继续挖掘史料,解放思想,加强学术交流,改善研究方法,并把研究主体和客体区隔开来。
