Panther&Thornburg(1998)的借喻性推理图式(P&T图式)和Cooren&Sanders(2002)的叙事性组合图式(C&S图式)都是研究语用推理的宏观图式模型。本文采用两个请求行为的实例检验了两种图式的实际效力,并在此基础上对两者的异同作出全面的评比。虽然两种语用推理图式各有得失,但将两者适当地结合起来,不仅能优势互补,而且能拓宽理论的适用领域,为语用推理图式理论的进一步发展打下基础。
The metaphorical inference scheme (P & T scheme) of Panther & Thornburg (1998) and the narrative combination scheme (C & S scheme) of Cooren & Sanders (2002) are both macroscopic schemata models for pragmatic reasoning. In this paper, two examples of request behaviors are used to test the actual effectiveness of the two schemes, and on this basis, a comprehensive assessment of the similarities and differences between the two schemes is made. Although the two kinds of pragmatic inference schemes have advantages and disadvantages, proper combination of the two can not only complement each other’s strengths, but also broaden the field of application of the theory and lay the foundation for the further development of pragmatic inference theory.
