In high school physics teaching, there is a model of “bullet bullets”, that is, a small object with a mass of m slides from the left end on the long board with a mass of M on the smooth horizontal surface at a speed v0, as shown in Fig.1. Shows that the last small piece of wood moves to the right together with the long board (equivalent to the case where the bullet does not pass through the block). This process is gradually slowed by the friction force of the small piece m sliding on the long board, and the long board is subjected to friction to the right. The force gradually accelerates to finally reach the common speed. This model has the following four conclusions. First, regardless of the size of the dynamic friction factor u, the final speed is constant.
