山西省吉县地处吕梁山区,大部分耕地分布于黄土丘陵上,土壤瘠薄,水源奇缺,水土流失严重,粮食作物以玉米为主。如何变“三跑田”为“三保田”,保证稳产高产,是我县耕作制度改革的一项重要课题。1975年县农机所经过反复试验,把农机与农艺结合起来,摸索出适合当地条件的一种新的耕作方法——机轮沟沟种法。几年来,沟种玉米比传统的平翻平作法,显示出明显抗旱增产作用,1978—1980三年试验,沟种法比壕种法增产25.5%,比传统的平作法增产36.2%。一、沟种法的好处1.蓄水保墒,抗旱防涝沟种法地表形成沟垄,波状起伏,耕层
