全科医学是服务农村基层最佳的医疗服务模式,对于我国农村居民人口众多,农村基本医疗服务需求增加,农村居民疾病谱转变,农村人口老龄化,农村医学模式转变等基本情况,在农村发展全科医学对改善农村基层卫生服务状况有着十分重要的意义。通过加强政策引导,普及农村全科医学知识;完善相关配套政策吸引更多人才投身全科事业发展;以及强化毕业后医学教育和继续医学教育培训等措施加快发展农村全科医学,为满足农村基层居民基本卫生服务需求,提供更好的初级医疗保障,为实现全面健康,全面小康打下坚实的健康基础。
