随着大众媒体的迅速发展,中华文化面临着西方文化的强势入侵。在舞蹈艺术领域,中国传统舞蹈也在一定程度上受到了西方舞蹈文化的冲击,很多蕴含着丰富传统文化内涵的中国古典舞蹈精品逐渐被世人淡忘。在此背景下,CCTV电视舞蹈大赛主动承担起传播和弘扬中国传统舞蹈文化的责任与义务,利用电视媒体的传播优势,将中国古典舞蹈重新引入观众视野,对古典舞的传承和发展起到了重要的推动作用,同时也为我国传统文化的复兴作出了贡献。
