The foreign language teaching psychology in the Soviet Union has developed along with foreign language teaching methods, linguistics and other related sciences and it has come a long way. The Soviet Union’s foreign language instructional psychology takes advantage of the achievements of pre-revolutionary educators and psychologists, notably К.Д.Ушин-ский, А.П.Нечаев and their Students’ writings also make use of the writings of foreign researchers such as Otto and Flagstaff.
