“图书馆营销”概念的提出和发展,是人们对于图书馆储存、传递知识的传统功能的积极思考以及受到诸如网络等新兴媒体挑战的结果。其根本目的在于如何革新图书馆的服务理念,建立便捷高效的图书馆服务体系,从根本上提高图书馆的利用率,以应对知识经济时代人们不断增长的知识需求。
The introduction and development of the concept of “library marketing ” is a result of people’s active thinking on the traditional functions of library storage and transmission of knowledge and challenges from emerging media such as the Internet. Its basic purpose is how to innovate the service concept of the library and establish a convenient and efficient library service system to fundamentally improve the utilization rate of the library in order to meet people’s growing knowledge needs in the era of knowledge economy.
