现代奥运会自1896年在希腊雅典举行以来,到2008年北京奥运会已经是第29届。然而,在1984年美国洛杉矶奥运会举行前,它都只是世界人民的体育和文化盛会,和商业似乎无法挂钩。因为奥运会是不允许在比赛现场出现商业广告的,所以近百年来,主办国通常是赔钱赚吆喝。举办奥运会,只能希望借此起到国家宣传的作用,从而间接促进旅游业、吸引投资。
Since the Olympics in 1896 in Athens, Greece, the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games has been the 29th. However, before the 1984 Los Angeles Olympic Games in the United States, it was just a sporting and cultural event for the people of the world and seemed to be irrelevant to commerce. Because the Olympic Games is not allowed to appear on the scene of commercial advertising, so the past century, the host country is usually lost money earned. The hosting of the Olympic Games can only hope that it can serve as a national propaganda, thus indirectly promoting the tourism industry and attracting investment.
