In 1878, the bird flu broke out in Italy for the first time. In 1997, a 3-year-old boy from Hong Kong, China, died of a bird flu infection. The virus, which has always threatened poultry’s life, has emerged as a new mutation and has been transmitted to humans. The world began a great panic about the bird flu. In 2003, Long’an County, Guangxi Province, China was confirmed as the first case of HPAI in mainland China. Since then, the outbreak of HPAI has occurred in some areas of our country.
