成人高校的外语教学应该注重学生的学习兴趣,采取有效手段改革教学方式,丰富课堂形式,充分调动学生学习外语的能力,并且结合学生的特点,制订阶段性的发展方案,提高学生外语水平,实现成人高校外语教学的目的。改进成人高校外语教学的具体措施包括:编写统一的教学大纲及配套教材,加强教师队伍的建设,保持英语教学的连续性,完善考试制度,加大教学设施的投资,改革教学评价体系。
