甘薯(Ipomea batatas)根腐病,亦称开花病,是甘薯的一种新的毁灭性病害,主要症状为烂根,地上部表现为小叶,节间缩短,叶片自基部开始发黄,而后逐渐脱落,且大量开花。大量实验证明,植株的生长发育与产量形成受体内激素平衡的影响。脱落酸(AbscisicAcid,简称ABA)作为一种抑制型植物激素与蕾铃脱落关系密切,但在叶片脱落、促进开花中所起调节作用如何尚不清楚。为了探明脱落酸在感染根腐病菌(Fusarium solani f.sp.batatas)的甘薯植株体内的含量变化及其与品种抗性的关系,我们用放射免疫测定法(RIA)对甘薯抗感品种中病株和健株体内的脱落酸含量变化进行了初步研究。
