建国迄今,我省在缺材少林的东部、南部、中部地区,不断进行较大规模的造林;在森林较集中的地区,建立了69个国营林场。到1982年底,全省国营林场有职工4727人,总经营面积948万亩,森林面积545万亩,畜积量2381万立方米,其经济价值达9.52亿元,相当于国家卅年投资(9370万元)的十倍。
Since the founding of the People’s Republic of China so far, large-scale afforestation has continued in the eastern, southern and central regions of the province where there is no shortage of raw materials in Shaolin.
