近些年来,久被淡忘的“国学”一词忽地“热”了起来。不止一位青年朋友曾以此垂询:什么是“国学”?为了找答案,我也多少浏览了一些时贤论著,发现不少专家学者并不以此为然,认为这个概念大而无当,不宜提倡。追根溯源,“国学”之名盖始于晚清,是对“西学”而言的。其实它的内涵并不出清人治学的范畴,即义理、考据、辞章三者不可偏废之论是也。义理之学大概近于哲学思想;考据则以文字、声韵、训诂、目录、版本、校勘之学为主要内容;而辞章之学,则基本上指古典文学作品,当然也包括
