本文介绍了利用液体闪烁计数绝对测量β核素的活度的一种新的外推方法。在闪烁瓶和光电倍增管之间放置不同的滤光片以改变液体闪烁探测器的效率。考虑β粒子的零几率,计数率同时随阳极电流而改变,当阳极电流的倒数趋于零时,计数率趋干衰变率。四种不同β源的测量证明了此方法的有效性。
This paper presents a new extrapolation method for the absolute measurement of β-nuclide activity using liquid scintillation counting. A different filter is placed between the scintillation vial and the photomultiplier tube to change the efficiency of the liquid scintillation detector. Considering the zero probability of β particles, the count rate changes with the anode current at the same time. When the anode current reciprocal tends to zero, the count rate will dry up decay rate. The measurement of four different sources of beta proved the effectiveness of this method.
