第七届世界心脏起搏会议于1983年5月1～5日在奥地利维也纳举行。会议由维也纳大学医学院K.Steinbach教授任秘书长,F.Kaindl教授任学术委员会主席,有65个国家2,600余名学者参加会议,共提出论文573篇。会议期间,23个生产起搏器及零件的厂家展出了新产品。此次会议讨论和交流的内容比较广泛,包括:(1)心脏起搏应用情况的世界性调查,(2)应用心脏起搏治疗的指征,(3)安置起搏器技术的改进,(4)起搏电极和导线的改进,(5)感知、干扰和生理感
The Seventh World Pacemaker Conference was held in Vienna, Austria, from May 1 to May 5, 1983. At the meeting, Dr. K.Steinbach, secretary general of the School of Medicine of Vienna University, served as the secretary general and Professor F. Kaindl served as chairman of the academic committee. More than 2,600 scholars from 65 countries attended the conference, and 573 papers were submitted. During the meeting, 23 manufacturers of pacemakers and parts exhibited new products. The conference discussed and exchanged a wide range of topics including: (1) a worldwide survey of cardiac pacing applications, (2) indications for the use of cardiac pacing, (3) improvement of placement pacemaker technology, and ( 4) pacing electrode and lead improvements, (5) perception, interference and physical sensation
