The National Gallery of Canada is located on a lowland overlooking the Ottawa River. The surrounding nature is beautiful. Sevdi conceived this building as a “miniature city” in the design, and organized individual buildings, streets and squares into a building. In terms of processing techniques, attention is paid to the performance of geometric forms, and the simple and concise form shows the relationship between this important building and the urban tradition. The gallery is L-shaped and has three levels. Enter the hall from the entrance to the southwest corner of the first floor, and go straight down the ramp corridor to the lobby on the second floor. The appearance of the entrance and the hall are all pavilions. The design is like a water crystal structure, but it also leads to the association of ancient church buildings.
