We all had similar experiences, being chased, attacked, or faced with some very horrifying scene in our sleep until we were awakened in a panic. Nightmares are annoying, but the U.S. Huffington Post reports that a new study says these nightmares may have a very significant impact on the mental health of people. Some sleep researchers have found that nightmares can release people’s stress and anxiety when awake. The researchers explained that those things that people are worried about when awake are still interfering after falling asleep.
