英国国家高等教育文凭,简称HND文凭项目,是国家留学服务中心引进的中外合作办学项目。项目引进以来,国内很多大学纷纷举办HND项目学习中心,项目也受到了许多家长与学生的青睐。从实际教学中发现,学生的学习效果却不远不如预期的那么好,其主要原因在于录取的学生普遍英语底子较差,也缺乏学习的主动性。结合作者实际工作经验,具体阐述在预科阶段提高HND项目学生的英语学习主动性的策略:进行以学生为中心的教学,建立分组教学,丰富课堂活动,鼓励学生开展多种社团活动等。
The British National Higher Education Diploma, or HND Diploma for short, is a Sino-foreign cooperative education project introduced by the National Overseas Study Service Center. Since the introduction of the project, many universities in China have held the HND Project Learning Center. The project has also been favored by many parents and students. From the actual teaching found that students learning effect is not as good as expected, the main reason is that admitted students generally have a weak foundation in English, but also the lack of learning initiative. In combination with the author’s practical work experience, he elaborates on strategies for improving the English learning initiative of HND students during the preparatory phase: conducting student-centered teaching, establishing group teaching, enriching classroom activities and encouraging students to carry out various community activities.
