Ⅰ铁刀木(Cassia siamea)的花、叶和树皮铁刀木属豆科云实亚科的落叶乔木。通过植物化学研究.发现其花含有D-右旋肌醇甲醚、β-谷甾醇、羽扇醇和四种化合物,其熔点分别为205-6℃、207-8℃、212-14℃、216-17℃,前三种性质均属酚类。花内还含有呈游离状态的蔗糖、葡萄糖、果糖和微量的阿拉伯糖及两种低聚糖(一种含葡萄糖和阿拉伯糖,一种含葡萄糖、木糖、阿拉伯糖和四种葡糖醛酸)。该树干树皮含有β-谷甾醇、羽扇醇和齐墩果酸及相当量的蔗糖。其叶通常用来治疗皮肤病,并可减轻肿胀,其药理特性可能是由于叶内除含
I. Cassia siamea flowers, leaves and bark Tilapia deciduous trees of the Leguminosae subfamily.
