为解决高温轴承钢(Cr_4Mo_4V)的磨加工问题,1976年底由磨料所、轴承所、一砂、四砂和哈轴等单位组成了高温轴承钢磨加工攻关小组。攻关重点是针对轴承套圈内径和外滚道的粗磨,解决磨不动和效率低的问题。套圈内径和外滚道磨削类似内圆磨削,它的磨削条件较差,加工余量大,要求磨削效率高,是难磨工序。
