原花色素(PA)是红葡萄酒和葡萄种子含有的多酚的一种,体外试验有抑制LDL氧化的作用,但未见体内试验有抗动脉硬化作用的报道。作者探讨了PA高含量的葡萄种子提取物(GSE,含有76％PA)对胆固醇(Cho)负荷家兔的抗动脉硬化作用。
Proanthocyanidin (PA) is a polyphenol contained in red wine and grape seeds. In vitro experiments have the effect of inhibiting the oxidation of LDL, but no anti-atherosclerotic effects have been reported in vivo. The authors explored the antiatherosclerotic effect of PA high-content grape seed extract (GSE, containing 76% PA) on cholesterol-loaded rabbits.
