中国入世后,随着国际商贸活动的增多,高职商务英语专业应运而生。专业建设与发展的前提是人才培养目标的正确定位。高职商务英语专业必须以职业能力为人才培养核心,以学生为中心的教学方法,以多元化评估为教学手段,才能培养出国际商务活动所需要的“复合型、应用型”人才商务英语专业是一门跨学科专业,它的专业知识涉及英语、贸易商科、文秘和交际学等方面。该专业学生在完成学业后不仅具备较好的英语语言知识、商贸基本知识、东西方文化基本概念,而且具有跨文化交际能力和商务运作能力,能适应职场需要,成为我国经济发展和国际商务活动需要的“应用型、复合型”人才。
