六年來的水文工作,在黨和政府的正確领導下,由於全體水文工作同志的積極努力,已經有了很大的發展,給水利建設及其它國民經濟積累了和提供了許多寶貴的水文资料。由於大家積極工作,努力鑽研業務,提出了很多創造發明和合理化建議,因而使工作方法有所改進,測驗成果的數量與質量都在不斷的提高。洪水預報工作的開展,增加了防汛工作的預見性和主動性,對戰勝洪水災害,保障農業生產和國家經濟建設方面起了一定作用。水文科學研究工作也在逐步的開展着。總之,六年來的水文工作有了很大的發展,而且在工作實踐中積累了很多經驗,這些經驗的取得是與全國水文先進工作者的積極工作,努力鑽研分不開的。我現在把一些主要的情况簡要地介紹一下,請大家研究。
