据悉,今年底按照初步规划完成“西气东输”研究工作,在国家计委协调下确定用气项目。2001～2003年则分期分段完成管道建设工程,力争2002年底建成靖边至上海段;2003年建成轮南至靖边段。设想初期先利用陕甘宁天然气启动上海市场;2004新疆塔里木开始正式向长江三角洲地区供气,并相继建设压气站;2005年管输规模达到120亿m~3的设计水平,并确保稳定供气30年。
