“Modern archives - principles and technology” is one of the important writings of Schlumberger, and many of the ideas contained therein have a far-reaching impact on future generations. The document dual value theory is one of them. The article takes the theory as the main research object, then makes an objective evaluation of the book according to the history and reality.
