Fluorescence-labeled flow cytometry was used to study CD23 expression on the surface of normal human peripheral blood lymphocytes. The results showed that the percentage of CD23 + cells in peripheral blood mononuclear cells was about 6%, the percentage of CD23 + cells in B lymphocytes was about 16%, the positive detection rate of T lymphocytes was 1-2% In the cells, the proportion of CD23 + cells increases with the stimulation time, up to 70%. In PHA-activated T cells, the proportion of CD23 + cells can also be increased to 10%. Thus, CD23 + cells in peripheral blood are mainly distributed in B cell population, and activation can significantly induce the expression of CD23 on B cells. Activated T cells can also partially express CD23 molecules.
