The Ninth PLA Cardiology Conference was held in Chengdu from September 7 to September 1992. The conference received 942 papers. After being reviewed by experts in the PLA’s cardiology and internal medicine team, 490 papers were selected to be reported or exchanged in the conference. A considerable number of theses have reached advanced domestic or international advanced level. The exchange of information shows that since the last session of the symposium, the vast majority of our army’s cardiology workers have also raised their ability to diagnose and treat coronary heart disease, hypertension, arrhythmia, cardiac insufficiency and myocardial diseases
