Ashamed to say, I used to be a hacker 50 years ago, although I myself did not think so, until I found that after the people think so. At the time I was proud, but now I do not think it is a shining matter. Because the meaning of this name has changed. Some 50 years ago, some of the people around me and I were designing old computer systems, languages and programs based on early computer systems such as ENIAC, giving full play to our engineering and physics disciplines and endless imagination. Including the earliest machine language, assembly language and Fortran language and so on. Like Seymour Cray, it’s all done with the full hardware and software design of a supercomputer. It can be said that our existence has accelerated the development of the industry. At that time, the hacker, to create more than vandalism, and now the hacker is exactly the opposite.
