The classification of the basic dimensions of mechanical and electrical products’ zeros and parts is introduced. The significance of the rational choice of parts’ dimensions and its relationship with improving the economic benefits of the products are briefly introduced. The selection principles of various dimensions are discussed, and the economic benefits that should be produced are qualitatively analyzed.
