This paper deals with the ternary xLa_20_2·20Li_2O·(80-x)B_2O_3 glssses in terms of GroupTheory.By means of Raman spectra and Infrared spectra,the effects of La_2O_2 on the structureof the system are found to be similar to that of Li_2O.With the increase of x value,the transfor-ming process of the glass structure is:[B_8O_(12)]~(2-)——[B_4O_7]~(2-)——[BO_2]~(1-)If the content of La_2O_2 is higher,pyroborate and orthoborate groups would come into being.This is very useful to the study of new noncrystalline Li+-fastion conductors.
