To study the risk of welder lung cancer and its carcinogenicity, the authors cohort 11092 male welders from nine countries in Western Europe. Including the first welder dust time, continued dust exposure time, cumulative exposure and chromium, nickel cumulative exposure concentration. The results showed that the overall mortality rate of this cohort was lower than that of the control population, which may be related to the condition of choosing a stainless steel welding operator at the shipyard, that is, selecting technically and physically fit workers. However, the overall cohort lung cancer standardized mortality ratio (SMR) was 134, significantly higher than the control population. In addition, the authors further analyzed the SMRs of different welder lung cancer at the shipyard based on the electrical welders’ contact with different welding materials. The results
