作者介绍了利用近三十年来,巴基斯坦在利用辐射诱变产生变异来进行棉花遗传资源改良和新品种选育中的方法、特点和取得的成就,自上世纪九十年代以来由于棉花卷叶病毒病的发生和流行对棉花科研带来的挑战与机遇,并对未来辐射诱变作为遗传资源改良和品种选育的方法的发展方向作了概述。
The author introduced the methods, characteristics and achievements of Pakistan in the use of mutation induced by radiation to improve genetic resources of cotton and breeding new varieties in the past 30 years. Since the 1990s, due to cotton leaf curl virus The occurrence and prevalence of the disease have brought challenges and opportunities to cotton research and outlined the future development of radiation mutagenesis as a method of genetic improvement and variety selection.
