报道了2-[6′-溴苯并噻唑-2′-偶氮]-4-氯-5-甲基苯酚的合成及其用作酸碱指示的研究。试剂的 pK_(?)=8.65±0.08,变色域为 pH7.9(黄色)～9.4(紫色)。滴定终点时颜色变化十分敏锐清晰。是一种优于酚酞和甲基橙的指示剂。
Reported the synthesis of 2- [6’-bromobenzothiazole-2’-azo] -4-chloro-5-methylphenol and its use as an indicator of acid-base. The pK_ (?) Of the reagent was 8.65 ± 0.08 and the color changing range was pH 7.9 (yellow) to 9.4 (purple). The end of the titration color change is very sharp and clear. Is a better indicator than phenolphthalein and methyl orange.
