Recently, a new generation of ultra-pure ferritic stainless steel T4003, independently developed by Baosteel, passed the trial of the railway freight car manufacturing factory of the Ministry of Railways and succeeded in realizing mass supply. The new type of railway wagons manufactured with this product will partially replace the long-established carbon steel vehicles and ride on the special coal transportation line for the Daqin Railway in China.
