According to the American Journal, anthropologists and geneticists from around the world recently held the second International Symposium on Human Genome Diversity at Pennsylvania State University in the United States. The main goal of the workshop was to develop a comprehensive plan to systematically examine human genetic diversity and preserve biological samples of specific human populations. The researchers hope the larger the number of samples, the better, but this requires a considerable amount of funding as blood samples must be rapidly returned to the laboratory after being drawn in the field around the world and cultured and preserved in blood samples. In view of the budget constraints, the current researchers plan only about the contract
