食叶时家蚕消化液中起抗菌作用的主要物质是存在于高分子物质部份,还是低分子物质部份?对此所作的研究表明,低分子物质部份存在着很强的抗菌力价。在培养基中研究了以消化液中的低分子抗菌物质咖啡酸为中心,包括其近缘化合物绿原酸、奎宁酸、原儿茶酸等物质的抗菌力。其结果,在PH值和消化液相同的合成培养基中,单一添加500PPm CA的场合,也表现有抗菌力;在500PPm的CA和1000PPm的Ch A共存的场合,表现了更强的抗菌力,即存在着抗菌力相乘的作用。
