Objective: To investigate the application and value of double stapler in anus preservation surgery of low rectal cancer. Methods: A total of 100 patients with low rectal cancer diagnosed and treated in our hospital from January 2014 to January 2016 were randomly divided into experimental group and control group. According to TME principle, Colorectal cancer or colorectal anastomosis anal sphincter preservation surgery; control group is the implementation of traditional surgery. Results: After operation, the successful rate of anal sphincter preservation in experimental group was 100.0%, which was significantly higher than that in control group (92.0%, P <0.05). The mean operative time was (86.4 ± 18.3) min in experimental group and (21.5 ± 6.7) ) d. The incidence of anastomotic fistula was 2.0%, which was significantly lower than that of the control group (92.1 ± 15.7) min, (25.2 ± 7.2) days and 8.0%, respectively. The difference was statistically significant (P <0.05). Conclusion: The double stapler is safer in the anorectal surgery of low rectal cancer, which can not only shorten the operation time and hospital stay, but also help to improve the success rate of anal sphincter preservation and improve the quality of life of patients.
