Xu Xiaoping, a professor at the National School of Administration, talked about how organizations should be effective as a leader from the perspective of organization and management. They also talked about five key elements that a good organization should have: First, there should be an ideal. The ambition of the Communist Party since its establishment was to seize the power of the entire country. A group of aspiring people are organized together and the organization is unstoppable. People have an ideal of success, a successful leader is to have an ideal, with the ideal, subordinates will be willing to follow you, but also to feel the work is meaningful and valuable. Second, there must be effective shaping system. The establishment of the Communist Party is based on an effective system of shaping ideals and turning Mao Tse-tung into a thinking that everyone wants, grasping the hearts of the people and letting everyone follow Mao Tse-tung. As a leader, that is, to establish an effective system of shaping the ideal and turn our own ideals and aspirations into the ideal and aspiration of all. Third, we must have an ideal mechanism. This mechanism is to bind everyone in a community of interests so that everyone will feel that they are working for themselves and not for leadership. Fourth, we should establish a harmonious cultural concept of mutual respect. Mao Zedong created a respect-oriented and people-oriented army in Jinggangshan. No rank, no equality of officers and soldiers, common prosperity and common ends. As a leader, we must respect subordinates, respect for people, which in itself is an undeniable force. Five is to establish norms. It is to establish the bottom line that an organization should abide by. Mao Zedong was in Jinggangshan that year, and proposed that the military must abide by the bottom line - “the three disciplines and eight cautions.” As a leader, we must formulate a set of good norms in order to solve the problems existing in the organization.
