在中国绘画史上,曾出现过诸多僧人画家,如贯休、巨然、惠崇、朱耷、石涛等,他们的艺术成就及对后世的影响令人赞叹。而当今,也有些融书家、画家于一身的僧人,释明鉴法师就是其中的一位代表。释明鉴,字崇涛,别署印月。出家前即以丹青结缘缁门。丙成年在净慧长老座下披剃圆具后常住湖北黄梅四祖寺,潜心书画。画追梁楷、八大,书袭山谷、傅青主,并善于通过陶瓷、散文、摄影等艺术形式表达自己对禅和人生的理解与感悟。2013年9月底,明鉴法师云游至陕西终南山可一法师隐修的茅棚,本刊记者得讯即往拜访,在一盏散发着淡淡香气的凤凰老从茶前,有了下面的交谈。
