The colorful Cu-Pb-Zn deposit is located in Zhiduo County in the southern part of Qinghai Province in the northern part of the “Sanjiang” polymetallic metallogenic belt and is the only large deposit newly discovered in the area related to the ancient Tethyan volcano. The orebodies are produced in Late Triassic Batang Group volcanic rock strata, and the ore-hosting rocks are directly hosted by the quartzite. In the mining area, silicate, sericitization, pyrite, chlorite, barite, dolomitization and calcite alteration are mainly developed. The mineralization types are massive and disseminated copper-lead-zinc mineralization and laminar And star-shaped copper-based, followed by fine vein copper-lead-zinc mineralization. Alteration mineralization has obvious zonation in space, with dolomite-barite solidified crust as the boundary, silicification-bariatization-massive and vein-shaped mineralized zone, silicified-pyrite Mineralization - dense disseminated mineralization zone, pyrite - silicification - sericitization - sparse disseminated mineralization zone, silicification - weak chloritization zone, chlorite zone. On the plate are mostly low-temperature mineralization alteration combination, such as weak silicification - weak sericite - chloritization and so on. In terms of metallogenic evolution, the ore deposits have undergone three major metallogenic processes: volcanic sedimentary-gas-mineralization, hydrothermal mineralization and epigenetic stages of submarine jets. The comprehensive analysis of the mineralogical characteristics, alteration mineralization zoning and ore-forming evolution shows that the colorful Cu-Pb-Zn deposit is very similar to the Japanese black mines and the VMS deposits in the “Sanjiang” middle section of the western Sichuan Basin in the same tectonic belt, belonging to volcanic rocks Massive sulphide ore deposit.
