[热点述评]民生,即“民众的生计”。设计“关怀民生”的价值不仅体现为设计适用的产品以满足人们的需求,还体现在设计应充分和用乡村手工技艺性质的生产力,让乡村劳动力和劳动技能成为现代社会生产系统中的一个重要创造要素。这在香港志愿者为帮助四川地震灾区重建家园发起的“绣出未来——与四川同行”的活动中得到了生动体现。为此,本期以该活动为案例展开“设计与民生”的讨论,以引起关注,促使艺术设计起到改善农村民生、在生产中保护和发展传统手工技艺等积极的作用,并由此推动切合中国国情的中国设计的发展。
