教育部二○一一年八月一纸《教育部关于中小学开展书法教育的意见》,让呼吁多年的“书法课”终于能名正言顺地重归中小学课堂。然而此石一掷风浪四起,各界对此褒贬不一。呼声高或强烈认同者多认为写好字为国人之本,学写字须从娃娃抓起,“书法”国粹不能丢;反对或对此有疑虑者则担忧课程难免流于形式,戴文化的高帽空喊素质教育徒增学生课业负担。其实开设书法课如果仅为把字写漂亮,那么“全面实施素质教育,继承与弘扬中华民族优秀文化”只能沦为一句空话。

Actually, if we only write the calligraphy class beautifully, then “full implementation of quality education, inheritance and promotion of excellent Chinese culture” can only be reduced to empty talk.
