随着矿井生产的不断发展,岩巷掘进工作面离地面压风机站距离越来越远,压缩空气通过长距离管道输送,压力损失较大,从而降低了凿岩机的效率,影响掘进速度。日本古河矿业公司,用D95型风动凿岩机,在花岗岩上,用各种直径的钻头,在各种风压下进行凿岩试验,求得的数据如图1所示。如使用直径42mm钻头,风压6bar时,钻速为760mm/min;若风压降至4bar,则钻速降至540mm/min,钻速下降了30%。气腿式凿岩机额定风压为6~7bar,为保证掘进头有足够的风压,有两种办法:一是在井下掘进工作面附近装设移动式压风机站;二是装设压缩空气升压机。美国、加拿大和瑞典等国都生产有螺杆
