中国犯罪学研究会第七次学术研究会于1998年5月12日在深圳市人民警察学校召开。此次会议的主题是迈向21世纪的犯罪预防与控制。来自全国各地(包括港、澳、台)的专家、学者150余人参加了会议。全国人大常委会原副委员长雷洁琼教授发来了热情洋溢的贺信。康树华会长向大会作了工作报告,其主题是加强犯罪研究,搞好犯罪预防,为国家长治久安作出贡献。此外,各专业委员全代表作了工作情况汇报。大会作了学术发言,
The Seventh Symposium of China Criminology Research Society was held on May 12, 1998 in Shenzhen People’s Police School. The theme of this conference is crime prevention and control in the 21st century. More than 150 experts and scholars from all over the country (including Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan) attended the meeting. Former vice chairman of the NPC Standing Committee, Professor Lei Jieqiong sent a warm congratulation letter. President Kang Shuhua made a work report to the General Assembly. Its theme is to strengthen crime research, improve crime prevention and make contributions to long-term peace and stability of the country.
