于蓝是我崇敬的表演艺术家,她来自革命圣地延安,聆听过毛主席《在延安文艺座谈会上的讲话》。建国后她又考上了中央戏剧学院表训班获得深造。她以优秀的表演艺术得到观众、专家和同行们的赞赏,她是革命文艺队伍中的佼佼者。我是在银幕上认识于蓝的。50年代初,她主演的《白衣战士》、《翠岗红旗》、《龙须沟》,给我留下很深的印象。也算有缘,1957年我在水华导演的《林家铺子》组与于蓝相识了,尔后,我们连续拍摄了《革命家庭》和《烈火中永生》,她任主角,我当场记、助导和副导,对她在角色创造中付出的艰辛和她的创作方法和创作道路略有一些认识和体会。
Yu Lan is my revered performing artist. She comes from Yan’an, the holy site of the revolution, and listened to Chairman Mao’s “Speech at Yan’an Literary and Art Symposium.” After the founding of the PRC, she was admitted to the Central Academy of Drama for further studies. She is appreciated by viewers, experts and colleagues with her outstanding performing arts. She is a leader in the revolutionary literary ranks. I know the blue on the screen. In the early 1950s, she starred in the “White Soldier”, “Cui Gang Hongqi”, “Longsugou”, left a deep impression on me. In 1957, I was acquainted with Yu Lan in the “Linjiapuzi” group directed by Hua Hua. Later on, we shot “The Revolutionary Family” and “Eternal Life in the Fiery Fire” continuously. And assistant director, a little understanding and experience to her hardships in the role creation and her creative method and creative path.
