在诸多描述19世纪欧洲丰裕的物质文化生活的作品中,台湾学者辜振丰所著的《布尔乔亚——消费与欲望的古典记忆》以平实的语言和精美的图片,向大众展示了那骄傲百年的欧洲历史。站在21世纪的今天,经济的飞速发展,文化的百家齐放,大众已不再满足于被给予的消费,而是更多的主动参与到经济与文化的变革当中,由消费的欲望刺激带来的经济发展同时又驱动了文化艺术的繁荣进程。
